Tulsa King Season 2 a Success on Paramount+
The latest season of the Taylor Sheridan-created series “Tulsa King” on Paramount+ has been a massive hit, gaining a viewership of 13.6 million global households since it finished airing a few weeks ago. This success has made it the third most-watched show on the platform, trailing only its own debut season and the popular Ford-Mirren western “1923,” also brought to life by Sheridan.
Following the release of the new season, “Tulsa King” set an all-time viewership record on its premiere day for Paramount+. Season 2 has led to 159 million views and 6.1 million social media interactions, marking an 894% and 553% increase from its first season, respectively.
The show features a talented cast including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. The production boasts an impressive team of executive producers led by Sheridan and includes various notable names in the industry.
In light of its success, the producers of “Tulsa King,” MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, have solidified their standing with other hit projects like “1923” and the recently released Jon Hamm-led series “Landman.” “Landman” had the most significant global series premiere for Paramount+ in two years, adding to the momentum of this acclaimed production.
