Prime Video Adds Apple TV+ to Streaming Platform
Great news for Prime Video viewers in Australia, Canada, and the U.K.! You can now subscribe to Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription for $12.99/month in Australia and Canada, and £8.99/month in the U.K. This addition followed the launch of Apple TV+ in the U.S. as an add-on subscription via Prime Video back in October.
According to Kelly Day, Vice President of International at Prime Video, “We’re delighted to continue to roll out Apple TV+ on Prime Video with the launches in the U.K., Canada, and Australia, bringing Prime Video customers an even greater selection of TV shows and films, all in one app experience.”
Daniel Slepak, head of marketplace at Prime Video Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, expressed excitement over the addition of Apple TV+ to Prime Video’s offerings. He mentioned that Prime Video provides a wide array of programming, including Amazon MGM Studios Originals, live sports, licensed movies and series, and the ability to rent or buy thousands of popular movies, along with over 22 additional streaming subscriptions in Australia.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Services, emphasized the company’s commitment to making Apple TV+ and its award-winning content available to as many people as possible. Users in the U.S. have already been enjoying subscribing to Apple TV+ on Prime Video, and this move expands the offering to viewers in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
The great news is that subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, giving viewers the flexibility to tailor their streaming experience to their preferences. So, go ahead, explore the new Apple TV+ add-on subscription on Prime Video and enjoy a world of entertainment in one convenient app with just one password.
