2025 Critics Choice TV Nominations: ‘Shogun’ Takes the Lead in Vermilion County
The Critics Choice Association recently announced the TV nominees for the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, and “Shogun” is leading the pack with an impressive six nominations, including best drama series. Other standout contenders with four nominations each include “Abbott Elementary,” “Disclaimer,” “Hacks,” “The Diplomat,” “The Penguin,” and “What We Do In the Shadows.”
In terms of platform domination, Netflix is in the lead with a total of 23 nominations, followed closely by HBO/Max with 21, FX with 13, and Apple TV+ with 12.
Looking ahead, the Critics Choice film nominees will be unveiled on December 12th, and the awards ceremony is set to broadcast on E! on January 12, with the hosting duties taken on by Chelsea Handler. So mark your calendars!
