Exciting news for all the “Doctor Who” fans out there! Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming Christmas special, “Joy to the World,” set to premiere on December 25th. In this festive episode, Joy embarks on a mysterious journey after checking into a London hotel in 2024, leading her to the Time Hotel where danger, dinosaurs, and the Doctor await. Just in time for the holidays, a sinister plot unfurls across the Earth.

The special features Ncuti Gatwa from “Sex Education” as the Doctor and Nicola Coughlan from “Bridgerton” as Joy, along with a talented supporting cast including Steph de Whalley, Jonathan Aris, Joel Fry, Peter Benedict, Julia Watson, and Niamh Marie Smith.

Executive produced and written by Steven Moffat, known for his work on “Doctor Who” and “Sherlock,” and directed by the talented Alex Sanjiv Pillai, this episode promises to be a thrilling adventure.
