Prime Video has just dropped the official trailer and key art for “On Call,” an exciting new half-hour drama series set to premiere on January 9, 2025. The show, co-created by Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolf, promises an adrenaline-packed look at policing in Long Beach, California.

This innovative series combines bodycam, dash-camera, and cellphone footage to give viewers a cinema verité experience. It dives deep into the complex issue of protecting and serving a community through the eyes of a rookie, Alex Diaz, played by Brandon Larracuente, and seasoned veteran officer Traci Harmon, portrayed by Troian Bellisario.

Bellisario’s character, Traci Harmon, brings 12 years of experience to the table and has a strong moral compass that sometimes clashes with new law enforcement policies. On the other hand, Larracuente’s character, Alex Diaz, is an optimistic rookie who quickly learns the tough realities of modern policing.

The star-studded cast of “On Call” doesn’t end there. Eriq La Salle, known for his roles in “ER” and “Logan,” plays Sergeant Lasman and also serves as an executive producer and director for the series. Lori Loughlin from “Fuller House” takes on the role of Lieutenant Bishop, with Rich Ting from “Tulsa King” playing Sergeant Koyama.

The show is backed by heavy hitters like Dick Wolf, the mastermind behind “Law & Order” and “Chicago” series, among others, and a team of executive producers that includes La Salle and Peter Jankowski. Produced by Universal Television and Amazon MGM Studios in partnership with Wolf Entertainment, “On Call” promises to bring a fresh perspective to the police drama genre.

So mark your calendars for January 9, 2025, when “On Call” will be available for streaming on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Don’t miss the chance to delve into this gripping new series that explores the complexities and challenges of policing in today’s world.
