Apple TV+ Prime Video Add-On Now Available in Australia, Canada, UK
Apple TV+ has officially launched as an add-on for Prime Video subscribers in Australia, Canada, and the U.K. Prime members can now enjoy original content from Apple for $12.99 per month in Australia and Canada, or £8.99 per month in the U.K. This includes popular shows like Severance, Bad Sisters, Silo, and Presumed Innocent, as well as live sports such as select Major League Soccer matches and Friday Night Baseball.
Kelly Day, Vice President of International at Prime Video, expressed excitement about the rollout, stating that it offers customers an expanded selection of shows and films within a single app experience. The integration allows users to manage their subscriptions seamlessly with one login and billing setup.
Daniel Slepak, head of marketplace for Prime Video in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, mentioned that the addition of Apple TV+ to Prime Video will delight customers and provide access to a wide range of content. Prime Video also offers various other streaming channels and a library of films and series for rent or purchase.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, emphasized the goal of making Apple TV+ available to as many people as possible. The partnership between Apple TV+ and Prime Video aims to deliver award-winning content from top storytellers to a broader audience.
