Apple TV+ announces debut date for Berlin ER documentary

Apple TV+ is set to debut its new German-language medical drama, Berlin ER, on February 26. Starring Haley Louise Jones as Dr. Parker, the series follows her journey as she takes over the management of a chaotic emergency room in Berlin’s toughest hospital after a personal crisis in Munich. When Dr. Parker tries to make necessary changes, she faces resistance from the exhausted and underpaid hospital staff, who rely on dark humor to cope. Despite their differences, the team must come together to save lives in a harsh healthcare system.

The cast of Berlin ER includes talented actors like Slavko Popadić, Şafak Şengül, Aram Tafreshian, Samirah Breuer, Bernhard Schütz, and Peter Lohmeyer. The series is produced by Violet Pictures and Real Film Berlin for German broadcaster ZDFneo, in collaboration with Apple TV+. It was co-created by former emergency room physician turned screenwriter Samuel Jefferson and Viktor Jakovleski.
