The Real Full Monty to Strip Down on FOX Next Monday, Dec. 9 at 8-10 PM ET/PT
The Real Full Monty is set to air next Monday, December 9th on FOX from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. The show features male celebrities like Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, NFL’s Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli, and James Van Der Beek who will be stripping down to raise awareness about prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer.
These celebrities are not only bravely baring it all but also sending a strong message about the importance of cancer research and regular screenings. The show aims to break the stigma surrounding these types of cancer and encourage more men to get checked.
In support of The Real Full Monty, FOX has partnered with three nonprofits – the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and the Testicular Cancer Society. Through these organizations, viewers can donate, learn more about life-saving research, and find support for men’s health.
The Real Full Monty is inspired by the beloved 1997 film and is a two-hour special where the male celebrities will go through training and rehearsals to prepare for a big strip-tease dance performance. The choreography is by Emmy Award-winner Mandy Moore, adding some extra star power to the show.
This special event is part of an international unscripted format, first broadcast in the UK in 2017, and has received awards and critical acclaim. The Real Full Monty has successfully expanded to other countries like Australia, France, and the Netherlands.
The show is not just about entertainment, but also about spreading awareness and encouraging men to prioritize their health. By sharing personal stories of how cancer has affected their lives, the celebrities aim to inspire and educate viewers.
The Real Full Monty is a partnership between Spun Gold TV and FOX Alternative Entertainment. Executive producers like Anthony Anderson, Dan Norris, and Ashley Edens, along with Nick Bullen and Daniela Neumann from Spun Gold TV, have worked to bring this important message to the public.
So mark your calendars for this exciting and meaningful event, and remember, early detection can save lives. Let’s all join together to strip the stigma and support men’s health!
