Paramount+ with Showtime recently announced that they are renewing their spy drama series “The Agency” for a second season. The show features an impressive ensemble cast including Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere, and Jodie Turner-Smith. The renewal decision came quickly after the series premiered on November 29th and became the most streamed new series debut in Showtime’s history, with 5.1 million viewers worldwide.

In addition to the lead cast members, the show features supporting actors including Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, and Reza Brojerdi. Acclaimed director Joe Wright helmed the first two episodes of the series.
