Disney+ is revolutionizing the streaming game once again with the introduction of a dedicated ESPN hub within the Disney+ app. This means subscribers in the U.S. can now access ESPN+ sports content seamlessly through Disney+. This new addition joins the already integrated Hulu and Star+ tiles in Latin America, making Disney+ a go-to spot for sports, entertainment, and family-friendly shows.

For those who are subscribed to the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle, get ready for a whole new viewing experience. The Disney+ app now combines content from all three brands, giving you a unified platform to enjoy everything you love in one place.

According to John Lasker, Senior Vice President of ESPN+, bundle subscribers can look forward to over 5,000 live sports events within the first 90 days of launch. This includes must-watch games from the NFL, NBA, NHL, college basketball, and the Australian Open. And it doesn’t stop there – ESPN+ offers more than 30,000 live sports events every year, alongside on-demand replays, original programming like 30 for 30 documentaries, and studio shows, all accessible through the Disney+ app.

Even standalone Disney+ subscribers are in for a treat with the new ESPN and Hulu tiles now visible in the app. This means you’ll have access to live sports, studio shows, ESPN Films, Hulu originals, and even an option to upgrade to the full bundle. It’s a great way to discover more content and experience the best of all worlds.

Are you a Disney+ subscriber looking for some exclusive entertainment? Keep an eye out for special events like The Simpsons Funday Football, a fun Monday Night Football animated experience, a festive Christmas Day lineup with NBA games and the “Dunk The Halls” animated special, select 30 for 30 documentaries, coverage of the Australian Open, and groundbreaking movies and series from Hulu like Shōgun, Will Trent, and Reservation Dogs.

This new launch doesn’t just enhance Disney+ now – it also paves the way for ESPN’s upcoming direct-to-consumer product expected in Fall 2025. As John Lasker put it, live sports are more than just games – they are stories unfolding in real time, bringing people together for unforgettable shared experiences.

With this latest addition, Disney+ continues to lead the way in streaming innovation, building a platform that offers the best of sports, entertainment, and family programming all in one place.
