Bel-Air Renewed for Fourth and Final Season on Peacock
Fans of BEL-AIR have some bittersweet news to digest. The Peacock original series has been officially renewed for a fourth and final season. The cast, including Jabari Banks, Coco Jones, and Olly Sholotan, shared the exciting update in a video posted on social media. Even Will Smith chimed in with a supportive message on Instagram.
The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, which is a bit shorter compared to the previous three seasons, each of which had 10 episodes. The show first debuted in February 2022 after a viral four-minute spec trailer by creator and executive producer Morgan Cooper reimagined the classic 90s comedy, known as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series is produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, with Carla Banks Waddles as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer.
Throughout its run, BEL-AIR has featured a lineup of notable guest stars, including original cast members from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, along with Bianca Belair, Bill Bellamy, Andra Day, Saweetie, and many more.
At this time, the series has not announced a premiere date for its final season. Seasons one through three are currently available for streaming on Peacock. So, if you haven’t caught up yet, now’s the perfect time to dive into this modern reimagining of a beloved classic.
