Rose d’Or Awards: Winners of the 63rd Edition Announced
The 2024 Rose d’Or Awards just wrapped up, and we have the inside scoop on all the winners from this prestigious event. Hosted by the hilarious Sophie Duker, the ceremony took place in London and honored some of the best talent in international television and audio production.
One of the big winners of the night was Gary Oldman, who took home the Performance of the Year Award for his role in Slow Horses on Apple TV+. Ambika Mod also received recognition for her outstanding performance in Netflix’s popular romantic series One Day, earning her the Emerging Talent Award.
In addition to these individual accolades, the Rose d’Or Awards recognized countries like Belgium, Norway, Italy, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom for their contributions to the global entertainment industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Italian TV legend Rosario Fiorello for his remarkable career spanning decades.
With over 700 entries from 30 countries, this year’s competition was fierce. Mark Rowland, Chair of the Rose d’Or Awards, commended the finalists and winners for their exceptional work, while Jean Philip De Tender, EBU Deputy Director General and Media Director, praised the industry for its creativity and commitment to serving audiences in meaningful ways.
