In an Instagram announcement, Callie couldn’t contain her excitement, revealing that Quicksilver will be turned into an incredible feature-length movie. The story revolves around Saeris Fane, a young woman with a mysterious power over metals who accidentally stumbles upon Death and gets caught in a whirlwind of otherworldly encounters.
Quicksilver’s journey to the big screen is a unique one, as Callie initially self-published the book in June 2024 before it was acquired by Hodderscape in September of the same year. The publishing house expressed their enthusiasm for the book, securing the UK and Commonwealth rights in a competitive auction.
But when can we expect to see the sequel to Quicksilver hit the shelves? Well, it looks like we’ll have to wait until the fall of 2025 for the second book to be released. Despite initial plans for an October 2024 release, fans might have to bide their time a little longer for the next installment in this magical series.
