Disney+ is bringing more Jungkook goodness to our screens with an extended version of his documentary series “JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL.” Set to drop on December 3rd at 5 PM KST, this enhanced series offers fans a deeper look into Jungkook’s world.
The new release includes three episodes packed with unseen interviews, behind-the-scenes moments from the making of “Golden,” and even collaboration footage with Usher. What’s more, there are additional performances not featured in the original film, giving viewers about 55 minutes of extra content to enjoy.
One highlight of the extended series is the full version of Jungkook’s album showcase, “Jung Kook GOLDEN Live On Stage,” which took place in November. Fans can expect to see performances of album tracks like “Closer to You,” “Yes or No,” “Please Don’t Change,” “Hate You,” “Short Glass of Tears,” and his solo track “Still with You.”
The original film, “JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL,” made waves earlier this year with record-breaking success. It captured the hearts of approximately 1.38 million viewers worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing music film of 2023. In Japan alone, the film attracted an audience of about 300,000, setting a new record for K-pop solo artist films and achieving the best performance among Korean films released in the country this year.
So mark your calendars for December 3rd and get ready to dive deeper into the world of Jungkook with this extended version of his captivating documentary series.
