It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Edwin Peacock, Jr. on November 27, 2024, at the age of 72 in Burleson, Texas. A celebration of Chuck’s life will take place on December 5, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas.

Chuck, born on October 25, 1952, in Sinton, Texas, lived a vibrant life filled with sports, service, and adventure. He graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1971, where he excelled in baseball and football. After high school, Chuck joined the Air Force in April 1974 and served at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. His dedication earned him commendations and medals during his service.

Throughout his life, Chuck found joy in various pursuits, ultimately settling in Oregon in 2005. There, he embraced ranch life, indulged his passion for outdoor photography, and worked in ranch/farm retail. Chuck loved exploring horse trails and capturing the beauty of the surroundings through his camera lens. His photographs were shared far and wide, touching the lives of many.

Chuck is survived by his daughters Nicole, Dana, and Meagan, his grandchildren, his siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, including his loyal Trail Boss, Jasper. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Chuck’s friends who supported him during his final journey.

In honor of Chuck, the family suggests making a memorial donation to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers. His legacy of service, passion for life, and love for his family and friends will always be remembered.
