Bel-Air Season 4 Finale: Peacock Series Conclusion – Entertainment News
Peacock recently announced that the beloved drama series Bel-Air has been renewed for a fourth and final season. The third season, consisting of 10 episodes, premiered on August 15, 2024.
Taking place in modern-day Los Angeles, Bel-Air offers a fresh perspective on the iconic ’90s sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series follows Will’s complex journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the lavish mansions of Bel-Air, where he grapples with second chances and confronts the conflicts of a world vastly different from his own.
Produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, Bel-Air is led by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Carla Banks Waddles. The series has seen an array of guest stars, including original cast members from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air such as Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell, Vernee Watson-Johnson, and Daphne Maxwell Reid, alongside other notable names like Bianca Belair, Bill Bellamy, and Andra Day.
Morgan Cooper, the executive producer, wrote and directed the viral four-minute spec trailer for Bel-Air back in March 2019, which currently boasts over 7.7 million views on YouTube.
In the upcoming season, Will explores new opportunities and partnerships while balancing his newfound wealth with his past. Meanwhile, Carlton strives to overcome his personal struggles, testing the bond between the two cousins. The challenges faced by Viv and Phil, Hilary’s romantic journey, Ashley’s coming-of-age story, and Geoffrey’s past all promise an exciting and emotional season.
The talented cast of Bel-Air features Jabari Banks as Will, with Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones rounding out the ensemble. Stay tuned for the final season of this hit series on Peacock!
