LSA Watchlist: New Releases on Netflix, Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ in December
Get ready to cozy up with some hot cocoa and check out what’s new on Netflix, Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ this December! The holiday season is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time to settle in and catch up on all the latest releases. First up, on December 3rd, Prime Video is premiering a new comedy Christmas special starring Jack Whitehall. Join Jack as he tries to make it back to the UK from the US with the help of some famous friends like Michael Buble and Jimmy Fallon, all in time for Christmas.
Then, on December 6th, Apple TV+ is launching “Fly Me to the Moon,” a film about the United States’ mission to put a man on the moon. Launch director Cole Davis, played by Channing Tatum, and marketing genius Kelly Jones, played by Scarlett Johansson, find themselves in a chaotic situation when they’re tasked with staging a fake moon landing.
Next up on December 7th, Netflix is releasing “A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter,” a holiday special featuring the talented artist alongside guests like Chappel Roan, Tyla, and Shania Twain, as well as some surprise cameos.
Coming to Prime Video on December 10th is “Secret Level,” a new animated anthology series from the creators of Netflix’s “Love, Death & Robots.” This series is set within the worlds of some of gaming’s most iconic titles.
On December 11th, Netflix brings back “Queer Eye” for its ninth season, this time set in Vegas. Join the Fab Five as they once again transform lives and bring tears to our eyes.
Launching on December 20th on Prime Video is “Beast Games,” featuring Mr. Beast and his YouTube-famous challenges. Contestants will compete for a chance to win a massive prize of $5 million through a series of challenging physical and mental tasks.
And finally, mark your calendars for December 26th when Netflix is set to release “Squid Game” Season 2. Three years after the first season, Gi-hun is back in the game facing a new group of competitors. Will he emerge victorious once again?
