Baby Reindeer star Nava Mau joins upcoming comedy thriller: The Dregs
Exciting news for fans of Nava Mau! The talented Baby Reindeer star has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy thriller, The Dregs. Directed by Connor Martin, the film is set in Italy and follows a group of friends on a trip to Tuscany. But things take a wild turn when complex wounds and a cursed bottle of Vin Santo come into play. Joining Nava Mau in the cast are Benjamin Norris, Marta Pozzan, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, and Zach Tinker.
Producer Mike Stern couldn’t contain his excitement about Nava’s involvement, praising her as “inventive, suspenseful, and painfully funny.” This exciting project comes hot on the heels of reports that Nava Mau will also be appearing in the fifth and final season of Netflix’s psychological thriller, You. In the show, she’ll play Detective Marquez, which means she’ll be facing off against Penn Badgley’s character, Joe Goldberg.
