Saving Grace Tops Prime Video PH Chart
ABS-CBN Studios’ latest drama series, “Saving Grace,” made its debut as the number one most-watched TV show on Prime Video Philippines during its premiere on November 28th. Streaming not only in the Philippines but also in over 240 countries and territories via Prime Video, “Saving Grace” captured the attention of viewers with its first two episodes.
The story introduces viewers to Teacher Anna, portrayed by renowned actress Julia Montes, as she struggles to find her purpose in life while coming face-to-face with a young girl named Grace, played by talented child star Zia Grace. Witnessing the neglect and abuse Grace faces at the hands of her mother Sarah (Jennica Garcia) and stepfather Chito (Christian Bables), Anna steps in to care for her, even putting her dreams on hold momentarily—leading to mistaken assumptions of abduction.
Seeking aid in finding Grace, Sarah turns to popular public service host Miranda Valdez, portrayed by the country’s Megastar Sharon Cuneta. The series also introduces viewers to the characters of Janice de Belen as Anna’s mother Helena and Sam Milby as journalist Julius, among others.
Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, “Saving Grace” is a Philippine adaptation of Nippon TV’s successful Japanese drama “Mother,” which has seen adaptations in various countries around the world. Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu, “Saving Grace” is now exclusively streaming on Prime Video, with two new episodes releasing every Thursday.
