Jackson County Drug Court Graduates Over 300 Participants

Congratulations are in order for Amanda Harris and Derrick York, who both received the prestigious Terry Peacock Courage Award at the recent Drug Court graduation award ceremony. It’s not every day that we see a tie for such a meaningful accolade, but these two deserving individuals were both honored with the title of MVP. This marks the second time in history that this award has ended in a tie, underscoring the exceptional courage and dedication demonstrated by both Amanda and Derrick throughout their journey. The Jackson County Drug Court also took the opportunity to recognize Bryan McCutchen from the Macedonia Volunteer Fire Department with the Outstanding Community Service Award, showcasing the lasting impact and positive contributions made by community members. With over 300 graduates now surpassing this milestone, the Drug Court continues to make a profound impact on individuals and the community as a whole. Let’s celebrate these achievements and the hard work put in by those who have demonstrated courage and dedication on their path to recovery.
