cross Paramount+, the network announced that it was the “the most-watched Paramount+ premiere ever” and “the biggest series premiere on cable for 2022.” Season two of 1923 is currently being filmed in locations such as Austin, Texas and Butte, Montana, with the exact premiere date yet to be announced.

Executive Producer of the show, Taylor Sheridan, shared in an interview with Deadline that season two is like the second half of season one, and admitted she had no idea where the show was heading. Unlike her previous series, 1883, Sheridan mentioned that she didn’t have the whole storyline planned out in advance for 1923. To do justice to the story, Sheridan requested more episodes to properly wrap up the series in two eight-episode blocks.

As fans eagerly wait for the return of 1923, the final season promises to continue the captivating storytelling and stellar performances of Hollywood legends like Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford.
