Brooke Irvin spreads holiday cheer on Prime Video

A winter storm warning is in effect until 7 AM EST Sunday for Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Manistee, and Wexford Counties. Heavy snow is expected with additional accumulations ranging from 4 to 10 inches, possibly higher locally. The immediate shorelines of Lake Michigan may see lesser amounts. This weather event will bring high snowfall rates and gusty winds, leading to rapid visibility drops and localized travel hazards. If you have to travel, it’s advised to carry an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Additionally, a small craft advisory remains in effect until 7 AM EST Saturday. The advisory covers areas such as Grand Traverse Bay, Seul Choix Point, and areas near the Mackinac Bridge. Highest gusts up to 30 knots from the west and waves up to 8 feet are expected. Conditions will be hazardous for small craft, so inexperienced mariners should stay clear of the affected areas.
