Ben Stiller is back on the big screen in Hulu’s heartwarming family film, “Nutcrackers.” He steps into the shoes of Mike, a no-nonsense guy who suddenly finds himself taking care of his energetic orphaned nephews. The film, directed by David Gordon Green, draws inspiration from Green’s lifelong friend’s four sons, Homer, Ulysses, Atlas, and Arlo, who not only inspired the movie but also starred in it.

Talking to Spectrum News, Ulysses Janson shared how amazing it was to work with his brothers on set. Even when they weren’t in the same scene, they enjoyed watching each other’s performances and sharing in the fun. The Janson brothers not only acted in the film but also opened their home and farm for filming. Yes, you read that right – the animals and house you see in the movie belong to the Janson family!

Despite all the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, the Janson brothers still have their farm duties to attend to. Homer takes care of cleaning the chicken and guinea pig stalls, while Arlo focuses on feeding the animals. In total, they have around 90 animals on their farm.

Joining the Janson brothers and Stiller in “Nutcrackers” is Linda Cardellini, who couldn’t hide her excitement about working with the cast. She highlighted the essence of family and love in the film, emphasizing how vital these connections are, even when unexpected.

Stiller, known for his comedic chops, expressed his joy in making a film that embodies heart and love – something we all need, especially during the holidays. He wanted to create a movie that could be enjoyed by everyone, a film that, in his words, is funny, edgy, and heartwarming.

So, if you’re in the mood for a feel-good holiday movie packed with laughter and love, head to Hulu to catch “Nutcrackers.” This cozy family film is sure to leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
