All Elite Wrestling is gearing up for an exciting debut on HBO Max in Asheville on Jan. 1, 2025, at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center. The event, titled “AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen,” will be a live televised episode with all proceeds going to help victims of Tropical Storm Helene.

Get ready for an action-packed evening filled with thrilling moves like suicide dives and spine busters, as AEW brings their first episode on HBO Max to Asheville. The event will be held at the Cherokee Center’s ExploreAsheville.com Arena, which has a capacity of 7,200 seats.

Wondering when tickets go on sale? Mark your calendars for Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. for the general public, with a presale available for AEW insider members starting on Nov. 27. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the event, with the action kicking off at 7:30 p.m. The show will run until 10 p.m. on TBS. Local groups are still being identified as beneficiaries of the event’s proceeds, according to Matthieu Rodriguez, the marketing coordinator for Harrah’s Cherokee Center.

Who can you expect to see at the event? While the exact lineup of wrestlers is still to be determined, fans can anticipate appearances from North Carolina’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, also known as FTR. Both are former AEW world tag team champions and are sure to bring their A-game to the ring.

The event in Asheville will mark AEW’s debut in Western North Carolina and will be dedicated to supporting victims of Tropical Storm Helene. The wrestlers have already been active in raising funds for those in need, with initiatives like limited-time T-shirts and GoFundMe campaigns benefiting local businesses.

In addition to the exciting lineup of wrestlers expected to perform, AEW boasts other talented champions in various categories, including Jon Moxley, Mariah May, Mercedes Moné, and Private Party, among others. The event in Asheville will come right after the AEW pay-per-view event “World’s End” in Orlando, Florida on Dec. 28.
