Tving Apple TV+ Content Exchange Deal: Korea JoongAng Daily
Tving has partnered up with Apple TV+ to create an “Apple TV+ Brand Section” on its platform, set to launch on December 10. If you were immersed in the deep emotions of “Pachinko,” you can now enjoy it on Tving.
Choi Joo-hee, the head of the Korean subscription streaming service, announced this collaboration with Apple TV+ on Monday. This partnership marks the beginning of a longer relationship to strengthen both platforms.
For premium Tving subscribers, this collaboration opens up access to globally acclaimed original Apple TV+ content, including the first two seasons of “Pachinko.” Weekly updates will feature popular Apple TV+ content among Korean audiences like the comedy “Ted Lasso,” starring Jason Sudeikis, and “The Morning Show,” with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
To celebrate this collaboration, Tving is offering a special event. From December 2 for two months, users with an ad-free standard subscription and above can watch all of season one of “Pachinko.” Be sure to check the Tving app for more details.
In 2022, Tving introduced the Apple TV app for a more convenient viewing experience on larger screens beyond just mobile. An associate of Tving expressed excitement about this partnership, highlighting how it brings variety and popular appeal to Korean audiences.
Beyond its signature Korean-style content, Tving also stands out with live sports broadcasts like the 2024 Shinhan Sol Bank KBO League and the 2024-2025 season of KCC Pro Basketball, as well as Video on Demand for popular broadcasts.
By teaming up with Apple TV+, Tving elevates the viewing experience and cements its position as the top Korean streaming service, offering a blend of local and global entertainment unlike any other platform.
