Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan are set to star in Guy Ritchie’s new crime series for Paramount+ and Showtime. Originally conceived as a spin-off of the Showtime series Ray Donovan, the series has since evolved into a standalone project with no direct ties to the previous show.

Currently in production in London, the series will see Hardy in the role of Harry Da Souza, a professional conciliator working for the Harrigan family. Brosnan will play Conrad Harrigan, the head of a powerful Irish crime family based in London, while Mirren will portray Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the matriarch of the family. The show will delve into the power struggle between two rival families with global businesses, with Hardy’s character caught in the middle, tasked with protecting one of the families at all costs.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, known for his work with Hardy in the 2008 film “RocknRolla,” and written by Ronan Bennett, the creator of “Top Boy,” the series is described as a high-stakes gangster drama. The anticipated debut of the series is set for 2025 on Paramount+ with Showtime.

In addition to Ritchie and Bennett, the show boasts executive producers Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, and Jez Butterworth. With its star-studded cast and the involvement of acclaimed creators from the world of film and television, this project has generated significant buzz and anticipation among audiences.
