Disney+ recently announced the renewal of two of its international series, bringing exciting news to fans. K-drama Moving, based on a Kangfull manhwa, has been officially renewed for a second season, as well as The Artful Dodger.

The first season of Moving, launched in 2023, was a massive success, winning awards and becoming the most-watched Korean original program on Disney+. The series, directed by Park In-je and Park Yoon-seo, tells the story of South Korean spies protecting their super-powered children. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the second season, and Disney has confirmed its production with Kangfull returning as the writer. While specifics like the airdate and casting are yet to be announced, fans can look forward to more thrilling episodes.

In addition, Thomas Brodie-Sangster is set to reprise his role as Jack Dawkins in the second season of The Artful Dodger. This irreverent sequel to Oliver Twist follows Jack, now a surgeon in 1850s Australia, as he navigates a double life and the return of Fagin, played by David Thewlis. Season 2, scheduled to start filming in 2025, will also feature Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle, the governor’s daughter determined to become the colony’s leading surgeon, among other newcomers. With Disney teasing exciting cameos, fans can expect more adventure and drama in the upcoming season.
