Diddy Sends Cease-and-Desist Letter to Former Protégé Over Hulu Documentary
Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to his ex-mentee Shyne Barrow over the Hulu documentary ‘The Honorable Shyne’. Sources claim Diddy wanted to ensure the film’s accuracy. Shyne, also known as Moses Michael Levi Barrow, asserts that he took the fall for Diddy in a 1999 Manhattan shooting incident. Shyne ended up with a 10-year prison sentence, serving time while Diddy was cleared of all charges. Now, years later, Shyne is sharing his side of the story in a documentary.
In the documentary, Shyne claims he was set up as the fall guy by Diddy and expresses relief that his truth is finally being heard. Diddy’s team denies these allegations, stating that Diddy had no involvement in Shyne taking the blame for the shooting. Diddy is currently awaiting a criminal trial in May 2025 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, pleading not guilty to all charges.
