Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story is a new documentary about the iconic actor Christopher Reeve, set to start streaming on Max on Saturday, December 7th. Directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, this film delves into Reeve’s life, career, and remarkable resilience following a tragic horseback riding accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

Reeve, known for his portrayal of Superman in the 1978 film and its sequels, became a passionate advocate for disability rights after the accident. He even spearheaded the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation until his passing in 2004 at the age of 52.
