Eve Hewson’s Surprising Discovery on “Bad Sisters” Season Revealed
In a recent exclusive interview, Eve Hewson, best known for her role in the Apple TV+ comedy “Bad Sisters,” shared a surprising story about how she found out about Becka’s unexpected pregnancy in Season 2. The 33-year-old actress plays Becka, the youngest of the Garvey sisters, and was caught off guard by the plot twist.
Hewson revealed that she stumbled upon Becka’s pregnancy in a rather unconventional way. While helping a friend with an audition for the character Joe, who ends up being Becka’s new boyfriend in the season, she was handed the sides and had a sudden realization. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God!'” Hewson exclaimed, shocked by the revelation.
The auditions for Joe were underway before filming had even started, which explained why her friend knew about Becka’s pregnancy before she did. “This was before we read episodes 1 and 2, because they were casting before and people had snippets,” she explained. “And I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m pregnant?'”
Despite the initial surprise, Hewson embraced the unexpected turn of events and enjoyed the element of surprise in the script. She expressed her love for dramatic twists in storytelling, stating, “I sort of relish surprises in drama because I think we can become comfortable, even as viewers, watching things. So I love it when somebody suddenly takes a mad turn. It always feeds the monster of the story.”
In addition to Becka’s pregnancy, Season 2 of “Bad Sisters” kicked off with a significant plot twist involving the shocking death of one of the Garvey sisters, Grace. The unexpected event added to the drama of the series, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
