Also new on Disney+ is the true crime docuseries “Vow of Silence: The Assassination of Annie Mae” from Hulu. This series delves into the unsolved murder of Annie Mae Aquash, a remarkable woman who fought for Indigenous rights in the 1970s and whose death remained a mystery for almost 30 years. The show weaves together past and present, offering a gripping narrative of murder, intrigue, love, and betrayal within the context of ongoing struggles faced by Native and First Nations women today.
