Exciting news for Ted Lasso fans! Back in August, there were reports swirling around that three beloved cast members had signed on for a potential fourth season. According to Deadline, Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Welton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins) were all on board, sparking hopes for more heartwarming episodes.

Now, the good vibes continue as Nick Mohammed, who plays Nathan Shelley on the show, has expressed his eagerness to return to the Apple TV+ series. In an interview with Radio Times magazine, Mohammed shared that there have been talks about a fourth season among the cast. “I think it all depends on what Jason Sudeikis [co-creator and star] wants to do,” Mohammed said. “Everyone has said if there’s an idea that feels good, we would be all up for it. I would personally go back in a heartbeat!”

It’s clear that the cast members have genuine affection for the show, with Mohammed previously stating that he would “love to do some more at some point” and expressing gratitude for being part of the Ted Lasso family. However, the ultimate decision rests with Sudeikis, who not only stars in the show but is also the head writer and a key creative force behind the series.

Co-creator Bill Lawrence has also voiced his enthusiasm for more episodes, emphasizing the importance of Sudeikis’s involvement in any future plans. “As fans, we’d all kill if it was going again,” Lawrence said. “But everybody would say the same thing, which is: whatever Jason feels like doing and whatever his decision is, we’re all down with it.”

For now, fans can catch up on seasons 1-3 of Ted Lasso, currently streaming on Apple TV+. And who knows, with the positive chatter from the cast, there may be more heartwarming moments from Richmond FC on the horizon!
