Warner Bros. Pictures is bringing back the iconic Beetlejuice with a global streaming debut of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice on December 6, exclusively on Max. The film will also be available on HBO linear the following day at 6:10 p.m. ET.

This long-awaited sequel reunites director Tim Burton with stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara after 36 years. The original film was a box office hit, bringing in $451 million globally.

In Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, tragedy strikes the Deetz family, prompting three generations to return home to Winter River. A rebellious teenager, Astrid (played by Jenna Ortega) discovers a mysterious model of the town in the attic, leading to chaos when she accidentally opens a portal to the Afterlife. Naturally, the mischievous demon Beetlejuice is summoned, ready to stir up some trouble in both realms.

The sequel boasts new cast members Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe. Additionally, an American Sign Language (ASL) version of the film will be available to stream on Max in the U.S. and Europe, along with a Língua Brasileira de Sinais (LIBRAS) version in Brazil.

The ASL version is performed by Sophia Morales, known for her ASL song interpretations on social media, while the LIBRAS version is performed by Andrey Baptista. Both versions will be unique titles on the Max app, catering to a wider audience.
