Peacock Joins Family, Farmer-Flock Grows

There’s a farming family in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who got an unexpected new addition about a decade ago— a majestic peacock. The peacock just showed up one day and decided to call this farm home with the Baier family. Fast forward to today, and they have a whole flock of these stunning birds.

This feathered visitor quickly became part of the family, and over the years, the Baiers have seen their flock grow. They now have a number of beautiful peacocks roaming around their farm. One of their favorite memories is Joslynn, the granddaughter of Steve and Barb Baier, who did a sweet 4-H project that focused on building a nest on top of a feed wagon for the hens.

It’s heartwarming to see how these birds have come into the family’s life and brought so much joy. It just goes to show, sometimes unexpected surprises can bring the most happiness.
