Netflix Releases Trailer for New Harlan Coben Adaptation
Rosalind Eleazar is back in the spotlight with her upcoming role in Netflix’s “Missing You,” the latest Harlan Coben adaptation. In the trailer released recently, we see Eleazar as detective Kat Donovan, a specialist in Missing Persons cases. It’s been eleven years since her fiancé Josh (Ashley Walters) disappeared without a trace, leaving Kat heartbroken and with unanswered questions.
The plot thickens when Kat comes across Josh’s profile on a dating app, sending her world into a tailspin once again. His sudden reappearance forces Kat to confront the mysteries surrounding her father’s murder while unearthing long-buried secrets from her past.
Set to premiere globally on Netflix on January 1, 2025, “Missing You” follows the success of Coben’s “Fool Me Once,” which was Netflix’s most-viewed TV show this year. The star-studded cast includes Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner, and James Nesbitt.
The series, produced by Quay Street Productions, a part of ITV Studios, is executive produced by Coben through his company, Final Twist Productions. Following the pattern of previous Coben adaptations, “Missing You” moves the story from the U.S. to the U.K., with filming taking place in and around Manchester and northern England.
