Netflix premiere of ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ on Dec. 11
Fans of Gabriel García Márquez’s classic novel, “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” have something exciting to look forward to on Netflix. The first eight episodes of a Spanish-language drama series based on the book are set to debut on December 11, with eight more episodes to follow at a later date.
In other Netflix news, manga creator Eiichiro Oda recently visited the set of the live-action adaptation of his popular series, “One Piece,” in South Africa. This highly anticipated project is sure to thrill fans of the original manga.
Soap opera fans bid farewell to Chad Duell, who announced his departure from ABC’s “General Hospital” after an impressive 14-year run playing Michael Corinthos. Meanwhile, NBC dropped a teaser for “Suits: L.A.,” slated to premiere on February 23, and Apple TV+ renewed “Your Friends & Neighbors” for a second season before the first season has even aired.
Viewers tuned in to the premiere of “Landman,” starring Billy Bob Thornton, with over five million people watching the two-episode debut. Plus, fans of “The Day of the Jackal” will be thrilled to hear that the series has been picked up for a second season at Peacock and Sky.
