Mercedes Moné Wants Tony Khan to Establish Max Championship for her Triumph

One of the most popular wrestling promotions, All Elite Wrestling (AEW), is gearing up for a big change. Starting on January 1, 2025, AEW will be streaming live on HBO Max. This exciting news has fans buzzing, including current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné.

Mercedes Moné recently spoke about the HBO Max deal during the AEW Full Gear Post-Show Media Scrum. She shared that she has already had conversations with HBO Max, and they are excited to bring AEW content to their platform in January. Moné even suggested the idea of a new championship called the Max Championship to Tony Khan, the head of AEW.

In Moné’s own words, “It feels so good. It feels like money. I know, I’ve already talked to HBO Max. They love me. They’re so ready for us in January. We are so ready for the new year. I am already ready for 2025 Tony. I mean…Everything. I just feel like we’ve already announced so many amazing things in 2025. I’m ready for it. I know we’re still in November, there’s so much more exciting things to come in December. But 2025 is going to be such an exciting time for AEW and to be the TBS Women’s Champion is exciting and I just hope one day, maybe you [Tony Khan] can make a Max Title too for me to hold. You know how much I love the gold, Tony.”
