Jeremi Gorman Joins Fanatics: Former Netflix Advertising Head
Jeremi Gorman has a new gig at Fanatics! The veteran advertising executive, who recently led the advertising charge at Netflix and Snapchat, will be stepping into the role of senior advisor at Michael Rubin’s sports-centric company.
In her new role, Gorman will be in charge of integrated brand and marketing efforts at Fanatics. She’ll be developing a fresh advertising and brand partnerships strategy that spans all of Fanatics’ divisions, including Commerce, Collectibles, Sportsbook, Fanatics Live, and Events, which encompasses the newly launched Fanatics Fest.
Gorman’s responsibilities will include marketing Fanatics and its various business sectors, as well as helping the company establish a unified advertising strategy. She will be reporting to Fanatics’ chief strategy officer, Tucker Kain, and will be splitting her time between offices in New York and Los Angeles.
Before her time at Fanatics, Gorman played a pivotal role in building Amazon’s advertising business and later took on a position at Snap. In 2022, she joined Netflix, working alongside Peter Naylor to create the streaming giant’s advertising tier from scratch. After leaving Netflix a bit over a year later, Gorman will now bring her expertise to Fanatics, a company that has grown from an ecommerce venture into a multifaceted organization under Rubin’s leadership.
