Dr Disrespect Secures Exclusive Streaming Deal with Rumble

Controversial gaming content creator and streamer Dr Disrespect has made headlines with an exclusive deal he recently secured with livestreaming platform Rumble. In an announcement shared by Rumble on Monday, November 25, it was revealed that Dr Disrespect, also known as the Two Time, will not only have exclusive content on Rumble Premium but will also receive an equity stake in the platform. Additionally, he will be taking on a leadership role in Rumble’s gaming division to help grow the Rumble Gaming community.

Fans of Dr Disrespect can mark their calendars for his debut on Rumble, which is set to take place on December 2, 2024. This news marks an important step in Dr Disrespect’s comeback, as he took a break from livestreaming earlier this year after being permanently banned from Twitch. Following allegations and his admission of inappropriate communication with a minor, Dr Disrespect lost monetization on his YouTube channel. Despite still receiving generous donations during his broadcasts, the loss of subscriber and ad revenue prompted his search for a new streaming platform.

With Twitch no longer an option, potential landing spots for Dr Disrespect included platforms like Kick or Rumble. Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski had been in talks with Dr Disrespect and confirmed the platform’s interest in the popular streamer. While the press release announcing the deal states that Dr Disrespect’s premium content will be exclusive to Rumble, it remains unclear if the free broadcast will only be available on Rumble. Many streamers now multicast on platforms like Twitch and YouTube simultaneously, a trend known as “multistreaming”.

Despite his massive following on YouTube, Dr Disrespect may experience a viewership decline by moving exclusively to a smaller platform like Rumble. One possibility is that he will continue streaming for free on both platforms while encouraging YouTube viewers to join Rumble for exclusive content.
