Disney+: Top 10 Exciting K-Content Projects Coming Soon
Disney+ is getting ready to bring some Korean original content that will have viewers at the edge of their seats. The 2024 Disney APAC Content Showcase, which was held in Singapore recently, gave us a sneak peek into 10 exciting K-content projects that will be coming our way soon.
Some of the thrilling series that were revealed include “Unmasked,” “Hyper Knife,” “Nine Puzzles,” “Knock-Off,” and “Low Life.” The actors and directors of these shows shared insights into the intriguing narratives during separate press conferences held on November 21.
“Unmasked,” starring Kim Hye-soo, Jung Sung-il, and Joo Jong-hyuk, delves into the world of an investigative news team as they tackle a 20-year-old cold case involving a famous actor. While the subject matter may be serious, the creators promised a blend of emotions that will keep viewers engaged.
For “Hyper Knife,” a medical thriller featuring Park Eun-bin and Sul Kyung-gu, viewers can expect a gripping storyline about a doctor’s journey to redemption. Director Kim Jung-hyun highlighted the unique dynamics between characters, promising an emotional roller-coaster ride for audiences.
“Mystery thriller ‘Nine Puzzles’ takes us on a journey with an investigative profiler and a detective unraveling a new serial killer case. Director Yoon Jong-bin shared that the project’s captivating narrative drew him back to working on a streaming platform project, after initially deciding against it due to exhaustion.
And get ready to see Kim Soo-hyun and Cho Bo-ah on screen in “Knock-Off,” a project directed by Park Hyun-sok and written by Han Jung-hoon. With such a star-studded cast and talented creators behind these upcoming series, it’s safe to say that Disney+ has some exciting K-content in store for 2024.
