Disney+ Releases: November 25 – December 1
Streaming platform Hulu has just launched a new feature called “Watch Party.” This feature allows subscribers to watch movies and TV shows together with friends and family in different locations. To use Watch Party, all participants need to have a Hulu subscription and be watching from a supported device, such as a computer or laptop.
To start a Watch Party, select the “Watch Party” icon on the Details page of the title you want to watch. Then, choose the friends you want to invite to the party by sending them a link. Your friends will need to have a Hulu subscription and be logged in to join the Watch Party. Once everyone is in, one person can control the playback while everyone else watches and chats in a shared group chat.
Currently, Watch Party is only available for subscribers on the Hulu ad-free plan. It works on a variety of Hulu-supported devices, like web browsers on a computer or laptop. Sadly, at the moment, Watch Party is not supported on mobile devices, smart TVs, and gaming consoles.
This new feature offers a fun way to connect with loved ones and enjoy your favorite movies and shows together, even when you’re miles apart. So grab some popcorn, start a Watch Party, and have a virtual movie night with your friends and family!
