Delete Amazon Prime Video Watch History: Step-by-Step Guide

0

If you’re a fan of Amazon Prime Video, you might be surprised to know that the platform keeps track of every movie and TV show you watch. This history can add up to around 200 titles spanning various devices, from smartphones to smart TVs. But don’t worry, you can clear your watch history if you’d like. Let’s dive into how you can do that.

To start, log in to your Amazon account and head to the Prime Video homepage. Hover over your profile name and click on ‘Account & Settings.’ From there, select ‘Watch history’ and then ‘View watch history’ to see the complete list of your watched content.

To remove an item from your watch history, simply click on ‘Remove this from watched videos’ or ‘Hide this,’ as available. Once you click, that item will disappear from your records. Keep in mind that you’ll need to do this for each individual title you want to delete.

Unfortunately, at the moment, Amazon Prime Video doesn’t offer a way to clear your entire watch history with one click. This might be because they use this data to provide personalized recommendations, so they want to keep it easily accessible. While it might take some time to clean up your watch history one by one, at least you have the option to do so!
