Get ready, Beetlejuice fans! The highly anticipated sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 supernatural classic is finally here. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” will make its streaming debut on Max on December 6, followed by its airing on HBO linear on Saturday, December 7 at 6:10 p.m. ET.

This exciting release comes after a successful theatrical run in September, where the film raked in over $451 million worldwide. Domestically, it’s now Burton’s second highest-grossing film, pulling in a whopping $294 million.

Fans will be thrilled to see original cast members like Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Michael Keaton reprising their roles in this long-awaited sequel. The story picks up with Lydia Deetz (Ryder) as an adult, still grappling with her past encounters with the mischievous ghost, Betelgeuse (Keaton). When Lydia’s daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) stumbles upon a mysterious model of the town in the attic, she inadvertently opens a portal to the Afterlife, causing chaos in both realms. It’s only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to wreak havoc in his unique way.
