Peacock Cancels Pitch Perfect Spin-Off Bumper in Berlin: Reasons Behind the Decision
The “Pitch Perfect” series has brought us some memorable moments both on the big screen and now on Peacock with the spin-off series “Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin.” Despite the law of diminishing returns, this fun and silly show, led by showrunner Megan Amram, continues the story of Bumper Allen, played by Adam DeVine.
Bumper, originally a villain in the movies, takes center stage in this series, showcasing DeVine’s talent for bringing this character to life. With Flula Borg reprising his role and Sarah Hyland joining the cast as Bumper’s love interest, the show is a delightful continuation of the “Pitch Perfect” world.
While the series has been canceled, fans can still enjoy the existing episodes that capture the essence of the beloved franchise. Even though we won’t get to see more of Bumper and his adventures in Berlin, the show remains a charming addition to the “Pitch Perfect” universe.
