Apple TV+ Customer Satisfaction Increases by about 4%, Still Trails Amazon Prime
According to a recent survey by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), customer satisfaction with video streaming services has improved across the board compared to last year. Apple TV+ saw an increase in its score, jumping from 76 in 2023 to 79 in 2024, securing the fourth spot overall. The top spot was claimed by Amazon Prime Video with a score of 82, closely followed by Peacock and YouTube Premium at 80.
What’s interesting is that Apple TV+ shares its score of 79 with other popular services like Hulu, Netflix, and Sling TV. Meanwhile, services like Max and Paramount+ scored 78, and Disney+ received a score of 77. Despite the slight variation in scores, the overall trend is positive, with the streaming industry experiencing an uptick in customer satisfaction as the average score hits an all-time high of 79.
It’s worth noting that this increase in customer satisfaction comes amidst rising subscription prices. This suggests that consumers are still engaging with streaming services, showing a strong interest as these platforms continue to expand their content offerings.
