Disney+ Acquires Prince William Documentary in Battle for Royal Streaming Viewership
Disney+ has secured a significant addition to its streaming platform, with the acquisition of a two-part documentary featuring Prince William. In this documentary, the Prince of Wales and heir to the throne introduces the Royal Foundation’s Homewards program, aimed at addressing homelessness in the U.K.
Titled "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness," the documentary follows Prince William and the Homewards program as they undertake a mission to combat homelessness in six locations across the U.K. The Prince ultimately decides to construct supported housing on his own property as part of this initiative.
Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 1, the documentary will first air on ITV in the U.K. "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness" is executive produced by Mindhouse and Arron Fellows, and directed by BAFTA award-winning Director Leo Burley.
