Apple+ Unveils Teaser for Season 2 of "Severence"

Apple TV+ has unveiled the teaser for the upcoming second season of the acclaimed workplace thriller series "Severance." The show, which has garnered both Emmy and Peabody Awards, offers viewers a peek into the enigmatic world of Lumon Industries. Directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, and created, written, and executive produced by Dan Erickson, the second season is set to premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first episode scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2025, followed by subsequent episodes every Friday until March 21.

"Severance" revolves around Mark Scout (played by Adam Scott), who heads a team at Lumon Industries where employees undergo a unique severance procedure that partitions their memories between their professional and personal lives. As Mark delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding this "work-life balance" experiment, he is confronted with a series of revelations that challenge his understanding of his work and his identity. In the upcoming season, Mark and his associates will face the dire repercussions of breaching the boundaries set by the severance process, leading them down a path fraught with adversity.

The second season reunites a stellar ensemble cast, including Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Additionally, Sarah Bock joins the series as a new regular cast member.

Ben Stiller, who also helms five episodes this season, serves as an executive producer alongside Uta Bresiewitz, Sam Donovan, and Jessica Lee Gagné. The show’s creator, Dan Erickson, is also an executive producer, along with John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Sam Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz, and Nicholas Weinstock. Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette also take on executive producer roles. Fifth Season is the studio behind the production.
