Goosebumps: The Vanishing Set to Premiere on Disney+

A highly anticipated new season of Disney Branded Television’s anthology series, "Goosebumps: The Vanishing," is set to premiere on Disney+ on January 10, 2025. All eight episodes will be available for streaming on the same day, offering viewers a binge-worthy experience.

The series features Emmy® Award nominee David Schwimmer in the role of Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor deeply involved in scientific research and mystery. Schwimmer, renowned for his role in "Friends," brings a fresh perspective to the Goosebumps universe with his portrayal of Brewer.

Based on the popular "Goosebumps" book series by Scholastic, the upcoming season draws inspiration from iconic titles such as "Stay Out of the Basement," "The Haunted Car," "Monster Blood," "The Girl Who Cried Monster," and "The Ghost Next Door," among others.

"Goosebumps: The Vanishing" follows twins Cece and Devin Brewer as they spend their summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn with their recently divorced father, Anthony Brewer. The twins, along with their friends Alex, CJ, and Frankie, stumble upon unsettling secrets in the neighborhood, leading to a series of events that uncover a mystery with deep historical connections. As they delve deeper, they unravel the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.

The cast of "Goosebumps: The Vanishing" includes a mix of established actors and rising stars. Alongside Schwimmer, the series features Ana Ortiz as Jen, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Elijah M. Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie, Francesca Noel as Alex, and Stony Blyden as Trey.

The series was developed by Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman, with Hilary Winston serving as the showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O’Malley, Karl Frankenfield, and James Eagan.
