Disney+ Announces Spring Premiere Date for Marvel’s DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Series

Disney+ has announced the launch date for the highly anticipated Marvel series "Daredevil: Born Again." The series is set to premiere on March 4, 2025, and the news was revealed at New York Comic-Con. Lead actors Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrays the villain Kingpin, surprised fans with their appearance at the event.

The announcement took place during the Marvel Fanfare panel featuring series producer Sana Amanat and Marvel Studios executive C.B. Cebulski. The panel discussed Marvel’s rich history of New York storytelling and the filming of the first season of "Daredevil: Born Again" on location.

In addition to the premiere date, attendees were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming drama. The series, consisting of nine episodes, follows Matt Murdock’s pursuit of justice both in his legal practice during the day and as a crime-fighting vigilante at night. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, played by D’Onofrio, navigates his own political ambitions in the city. The show’s logline teases an inevitable clash as their past identities resurface.

The cast includes Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal, reuniting some of the original cast members from the previous "Daredevil" series.

Dario Scardapane serves as the showrunner, with episodes directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd. The series is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord & Matthew Corman, along with Benson & Moorhead, Amanat, and Scardapane.
