Daredevil MCU Revival: Born Again Release Date Announced for Disney+

Marvel Studios has officially confirmed the release date for Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, marking the return of the beloved Netflix series to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The revival, starring Charlie Cox as the iconic hero Daredevil, is set to bring back familiar faces and introduce new characters to the storyline.

The upcoming series will pick up with Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with extraordinary abilities, as he navigates his complex relationship with his archenemy, Wilson Fisk, who is busy pursuing his own political ambitions in the bustling city of New York. Fans can expect a thrilling continuation of the dynamic between these two characters in the highly-anticipated revival.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with a total of nine episodes planned for the season. Alongside Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil, the cast will include Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk. Additionally, the series will introduce new characters portrayed by Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gaston, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, Genneya Walton, and more.

Showrunner Dario Scardapane, along with directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, will bring this revival to life, drawing inspiration from the original character created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett. The announcement of Daredevil’s return to the MCU was made at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022, generating excitement among fans of the series.

Prior to the release of Daredevil: Born Again, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin appearing in the Hawkeye series and Daredevil making a brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The duo also featured in the Hawkeye spin-off miniseries Echo, setting the stage for their return in the upcoming Daredevil revival.
